Time's Vacation

Spring's here.

Birds sing as they flutter.
Honey drips from the sky.
Plants explode like champagne.
Sun penetrates my soul.

It runs like a river through my veins.
Flushing out the winter frost.
Barbecues drift through mossy fences.
Invisible pleasure sifts past me.

Time slows down, practicing for summer.
