Times Are Changing
It's a new year that fills promise in its skies
Tell the spies to seek where the bird and the plane flies
The Lord is now more evident to be seen
Even as His Light seeks the lurking places of sin
So when you see what you thought not possible in your land
Seek more than ever before seen God's Hand
Gone with the gone year are the fence-sitting days
Some will be given over to their strays and others to Godly Stays
The middle ground will be a divide abiding no man
The movement and the heat is all in the plan
Haven't you seen the calls to remember and to forget
All aiming at your belief as their sole target
Your open ears will be open to the truth and the lies
As the splendours and sacrilege plays out before your eyes
And you shall need Power to pass judgements
I pray that for your calling's sake God gives you new garments
For the times are evil going on to perilous
But brighter unto the perfect day shall be the path of the righteous
So abide thee under the Shadow of the Almighty
Guard thine heart above all as your matter most weighty
As the darkness swells, the light will be all there will be
Willfully bow your knee way before the day of every knee
Profess your Saviour Jesus Christ before men
Even as you approach His stature to be among His brethren
