Timeless Beauty

Beauty, beauty, everywhere
But everything withers away
The beauty of the soul is ginormous
Human creation is its manifestation.

Make thy soul beautiful
Self knowledged, self experienced, self schooled------
Timeless Beauty of the soul
Shine whose like pearl.

The authentic and the real
Neither clings to race, nor religion
Beauty, beauty everywhere
Soul's beauty enclosed not bare

Invisible, intangible
Weightless yet imperishable.

Gargi, this poem reminds me of a verse written by Scottish poet Robert Burns. "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, old time she is a fleeting." Very beautiful! I hope you did well in the contest. And thanks for reading "Crosses on Canopy Roads," Love, Carolyn
