Time Travel
They say don't stop dreaming
Vain fancy of your return to appease my craving is so overwhelming
Whenever i think of you
Unable to fathom an answer what to do
Seen so much since you departed
Everyone's proclaimation that what happens is for the best
When unable to share
Remember, how you hugged me like a bear
Dissipating the companion of fear
You are far, I know, I keen for you to be near
In accepting your demise they think i was slow
As air egressed my lungs, so stunned by the blow
Regret the void that important day of my life
On becoming someone's wife
Reassured that this is one's nest
Just put your fears to rest
Choosing the right path, thrashed here and flogged there
Searching that miracle might make you return but you were nowhere near
Harvested threats and hordes of wrath making one so cold
Paucity of warm kindred thinking i am so bold
Fate turning tides when discarded by one's ow
But one's brow unallowed to wrinkle with a frown
Time travel one knows is still just a test
But for now dad, for you and me, it looks best
One knows that one's favourite will never come back
Innumerable hours spent by you on me designed a web held strong against the wolf's pack
