Time To Time
Time just keeps ticking along,
Like the lyrics in a love song,
In a past world without any wrong,
Just constant fear of falling bombs.
Landing within crowded streets,
Where sweaty cops brave the beat,
It is never the enemy we see,
For they look just like you & me.
They shoot from the wings,
Like puppets on strings,
Not human beings,
As the chorus sings.
Soldiers fall within the crowd,
Beneath a looming mushroom cloud,
They fought hard and so proud,
Against hidden fearless cowards.
What can I possibly say,
To my loving kids each gruelling day,
"Justice shall come" as they say,
But we sit tight and quietly pray.
With dry eyes, I continue crying,
For this world of war crime,
As screams of children's death rhyme,
Forever and ever throughout time.
