Time To Sleep

The clock strikes twelve o’clock
I fear the evening’s tirade
The moon escapes its pod
But the time still stays the same

Does the night air penetrates me
As I enter the realm of sleep
Will you become before me
And protect every pore of my side

You reach my highest stride
Over and under the night sky
Where the sun never penetrates
As I dream beyond time’s cry
