It's time to hit the road
The only road I've ever known
It's time to set me free
To be the one I've always been
I know the road will be tough
But I'm ready to show what I'm made of
I'll show the best way to get through
Ain't nothing gonna stop me now
I know some people will be sad
But my soul is ready to move on
I know I'll miss some people
But I'm tired of staying stagnant
It's time to hit the road
The only road I've ever known
Don't know where it leads
To the end of my destiny
I know I'm gonna have sad days
But I've got to be strong to get through
I know the days will get better
And I'll find a joy in my youthful heart
I know I'm gonna have to try hard
But I'm ready to show that resolve
I'll show the best version of me
Aint nothin' keepin' me down no more
