Time To Forever
An hour seems to last for a lifetime
Whenever I'm waiting for you
But as soon as you walk through the doorway
One second starts counting as two
The minutes are never sufficient
Though I'll take whatever I get
And place them in my memory bank
To recall and relive them again
In the beauty of a sunset
They'll tend to come back to me
Their colors just as vivid
As the ones I see
If I could only just hold you
Take you into my arms and then say
The long, long wait is over
Forever now starts with today
