Time To Change

Slowly the days are fading
and night creeps in to seal
the deal
Can I pay you Mother Nature
to make this unreal?
Don’t get me wrong you
your seasons are very
beautiful you see
I prefer certain ones that
are suited for me
From the horizon, the sun
comes up to greet us
once more
At night the moon and sun
will switch out doors
Oh Grandfather time can
I speak to you right now ?
It won’t take long, we have
not spoke in a while
I hope to see a shooting
star tonight before I go
to bed
I’ll make a wish, say my
PRAYERS and then lay
down my weary head
