Time To Book a Holiday

It's time to book a holiday
Where we'll go I cannot say
A beach resort, or bush retreat
Maybe a chalet cosy, sweet

Maybe somewhere across the seas
In Bali they tell me "life's a breeze"
Somewhere I haven't been before
Same, same, it can be a bore

Now I know, I have a plan
Perhaps I'll take a pin in hand
Stick it somewhere on a map
This could do the trick may haps

But I want to go somewhere
Just anywhere I just don't care

Oh, I wish I could do the same, but my husband says I wouldn't be able to handle it and his right besides I have a little dog that just cries if we live him alone at any time. Hugs dear friend Eve

Oh Eve so sad, can you not find a place that animals are allowed, we have a big Dog but we also have our daughter and grandson living with us and they look after him so we can go away anytime, in fact we are going away for a week in a couple of weeks time, you need a break, we can't wait, take care my friend...................Vera

Dearest Vera Love this my dear poetic friend, I'm there right with you I'm tired of the same old every day routine, I just can't wait for some kind of change, a vacation to somewhere would just be the ticket. Well at least for today the sun is shineing outside, still chilly but I'm not picky, lol i've written something for my springtime people over seas by the way. I'm hoping it will cheer up Peter and cheer up his subduded disposition that I've been reading in his poetry lately.

Dear Vera I'm glad you like my tribute to Mystic Rose, and to springtime, Tom and I are ok, Except for the cold and the snow. Tommorrow we are suppose to get six to 8 inches here but the temp will be up at least 32 man I can't wait lol a heat wave at last. Hi Lindsay, thank you so much for the lovely comment, we still haven't decided as yet, just waiting for Peter to have a clean health bill, he has to have a colonoscopy next week, then we will decide. We were lucky with the bush fires, one came pretty close just after Christmas but we were spared, it happens every year so we are used to them, take care my friend........Vera.............
