Time, the Absent Father
Time is an absent father
who doesn't show any loyalty
for anything under the sun
in the blink of an eye
it dashes away like a sprinter
faster than it first came by
never stopping, never turning back
never sacrificing, never making excuses
it keeps plugging away at the speed of a UFO
like capturing a shooting star on the lens of a telescope
that will never stand still
