The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Time Stood Still

Waiting at the gates of destiny.
Thinking of the things that I can't see.
When thoughts did quickly turn to you
And how I missed you so. 'Tis true
That time stood still.

Trav'ling in the small world that I knew
I chanced upon the beauteous sight of you.
Before I could but speak a word
I found then that my vision blurred
When time stood still.

When after I did see you quickly leave
The next day when I saw you I did grieve.
But when your eye did catch mine too,
I thought that what I felt was true
And time stood still.
