The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Time Stands Still

time I will wait for your call

You go by so fast you blink then it's all gone in a song
look to the past then dream of the day with you
remember at school time would go by so slowly
then at vacation it always went by so very fast

but time stands still when I'm with God

the day he visited me in Cape Cod
the way I comb my hair part it down the middle
at the basketball court when I dribbled down the middle
time will bite you in the ass

no one gets by on a free pass with whispers in the wind

Just hope time will certainly last
there is no time in the casino
with such a cheap thrill
time stands still
