Time Stands Still

Time slowly passes
life slowly fades
people grow older
nothing stays the same
leaves fall,
trees die,
just like life
but never ending.
the sky darkens
forever in a day
with each passing second
worse then the last
in every one
forever
and eternity
waiting patiently
time stands still
will it ever end?
will the pain go away?
with every second
a tear hits the ground
but now,
unlike then
not blood,
but tears
drop by drop....
time stands still

Well written poem about suffering. It touches the heart. It does seem like it can go on forever. But this too will pass

a geat written poem, sometimes it feels like our suffering will last a life time but sunshine always follows the rain, sometimes it feels like groundhog day and things seem so grim but the sun will still shine, I trust God in all things and even in the darkest of the dark he always shows me his little spark, it does feel like time stands still but our timing is different from Gods' timing but all will be reaveald, God bless you from diane
