Time Moved On
This guilt, I will forever feel.
This regret, to not try keeping you longer.
This sadness I forever will have,
with letting you leave.
I gave you no reason,
no reason at all to stay any longer.
I wish you could’ve stayed...
just a little longer...
so I can still have that happiness,
of having you love me.
Time went by...
way too quick...
You went further..and further away..
Our strings pulled so tight,
that they snapped.
Sadness overcomes me..
as our love fades more..and more..
as time moved on.
