Time Lost
TIME LOST
Isn't life too short
Always thought we would have time
Enough to catch up
Make up for all lost time
You didn't choose I know
To be away most of the time
You wanted as much as I did
To share most of your life with me
Life forced us apart
You had to be somewhere far
Earning a living for us
You didn't know where dad was
Swallowed by distance
Hidden by mountains
Thoughts and mind twisted
Young manhood stupidity
Heart stolen by parasites
Chasing the wind to nobody knows where
Memory of us thrown out the window
I treasured all your visits
Countable and short lived
The call of duty
Always wished you'd stay a bit longer
The emotional farewells tear soaked
Heartbreaking to see the back of your head
Your heart carrying me always
Always thought some day there will be time
Enough to tell you how much I love you
How much I missed you
And always wished you were there
Life stole you from me
Gone for good you leave me
Emotionally shattered,tear soaked
Heartbreaking to let you go
Have to let you sleep though
I will always love you
Rest mama
