Time Lost

Turn the corner
Where are you
I spin around in circles
Feeling drunk and dizzy
Trying to catch you
You slip through my finger tips
Time and time again and again
So close but so far
Where are you?
I can't hear you
I feel you
But can't see you

When will we learn?
Our heart aches when apart
So lively with desire
So electric with hope
I have never felt like this about ANYONE else

Smoke pours from your mouth
And I breathe it in
Will this kill me?
I don't care if it does
At least I can say we had more time
At least we can say we tried
