Time is your life and life is your time

Time is your life and life is your time

As we enter the later years of our lives we start questioning our mortality and not how long we have left to live but how long left before we die

When we are younger, we thought that life and time do not go together
And we had plenty of time to live our lives

We measured our life in years and the things we had to do in time, we would say things like, 'I have years left in me yet', and that I have plenty. time for that

But now the years and the time have changed places. We realise that we no longer have the time to do things because we have no idea how long we have left. It could be hours days, weeks or months

So instead of “how many years do we have left on this earth”, it is “how much time do we have” left

We then are full of the what ifs and the would of could of should of Regretting the things we put off because we had a lifetime to do it

Well, now we understand that life has passed us by faster than we anticipated and time has flown. We were born to live, but we were also born to eventually die

This is what we do: we trundle through our life, not thinking of what the future holds, only of what there is now at this moment in time, and we don’t think about our lives in years to come

We then realise that we have not done everything that we wanted to do In our lives,
because we did not have the time, and as we have left it undone, we still don’t have the time

Don’t live your life in time. Don’t put things off until tomorrow. What you can do today, as tomorrow just might be too late
