Time Heals

Feelings weigh like heavy snow
random thoughts come and go
some move fast others slow
regrets linger in the soul
emotions rise to surface
other remain buried below
waiting for them to thaw
as we drift life's pathway
winter dissipates 
spring a renewal of things
time is a great healer
for winter's broken soul.

Your lines especially touched as memories and memontos may not fade, but we might learn to live with pain. Still Spring is on the way with optimum light to illuminate the barren vistas

I love the way youv started the poem with “ Feelings weigh like heavy snow“ so deeply moving. “ regrets linger in the soul emotions rise to surface other remain buried below waiting for them to thaw“ i think many can resonate with your words, as sometimes we all do have these emotions, weighing heavy waiting for spring, to renew and thaw icy emotions.
