Time has come

The time has come…
         to quietly walk away,
we all knew it would come eventually,
people have gone on with their lives,
just accept it, alone once again….
like the tumbleweed blowing across deserted road, at least it has a solid surface in which to cross..

the time has come, darkened skies give way to thunder, moon has fell no light to shine….children of the night my only friends….desertion is our common ground…the barren trees our only shelter; garbage bags cover our lonely bodies..

The time has come, black bird keep watch, street lights serve as candles of sorrowful times, loved ones companionship…

Names are no longer needed, as animals don’t talk, only my dog to give me unconditional love…Jesus no longer sees my worth….
