Time Goes By

Time goes by...hours turn to days
We watch the clock tic tock our life away
It’s such a shame to think
Life is gone in just one blink
The story of life is hello and goodbye
But there’s always more than meets the eye
Someone is always hidden in the mask
People see but fail to ask
Maybe if we'd of said hello and cared
They wouldn’t have went through life scared
Maybe they wouldn’t have lost all hope
And untied that treacherous rope
It’s a shame to see that the cruelty of man on its own course
To stop what the Creator of Heaven and Earth has set forth
