Time Goes By

The day we wake up and realize
That most of the world is still a surprise
We can’t wait to leave
But in some way we’ll still grieve
We’ll cry all our tears
Then face all our fears
As our childhood life
Fades far into the night
We’ll sit back and laugh
Then take that last photograph
Some will be on their way
Others will chose to stay
Four more years will pass
Then we’ll stand in front of our own class
We’ll step outside
With a smile so wide
We’ll look down the hall see each others face
We’ll take a deep breathe and know we’re in the right place
We’ll take a step back look up at the sky
And say My how the times gone by

You're right Autumn, it goes so fast and seems to speed up as you get older. Make the most of every minute. Tom
