Time For Some Bad News

At some point in our lives,
We all are deemed collateral damage,
And the best we can do,
Is thank God we live in a democracy,
Where our situation does not have to be fatal.

At some point in our lives,
Things will get worse before they get better.

At some point in our lives pain will seem unbearable,
Until we notice others in even more pain,
And feel the urge to forget our pain,
And offer a helping hand.

At some point in our lives,
We will Fall down a rabbit hole,
And need help to get out.

At some point in our lives,
We will hide from reality,
But we can't hide from the tax man.

At some point in our lives,
We will have to rely on
The goodwill of strangers.
