Time Assassinated It All

When we first met you said I don't talk
Your explosive talks hindered me to
Though I wasn't as eloquent as you were, you took my nervers
But time assassinated it all

You praised me with all sweet terms ever
Just for you to hear me talk
You said you knew the real me
But time assassinated it all

I started talking as you wished
I laughed out loud than ever before
You now started wondering if that was me
But time assassinated it all

You started complaining I talk too much
Forgetting so soon you pushed me to
But now that was the true me
But time assassinated it all

You later said you wanted to leave
That I'm becoming sick verbally
I asked and pleaded you not to
But time assassinated it all

You threw me out of your way
Leaving pains and scars on me
I played a true role to you;if only you knew
But time assassinated it all

Months down you new calling me
Explaining how you miss me and need me
You now pining my mind on the past
But I'm sorry, time has assassinated it all
