Time and Love
You are mine for all of time
But I'm not yours .
You came into my life
At a bad time
When i truly hated who I was and what I had become.
I was broken , damaged and fighting .
But you fought your way and saved me.
You loved me and by doing so ,
You made me love myself.
To one from two, we said i do .
We promised to love each other as long
As the sun burns in the sky,
As long as the moon shines
Its light into the dark night,
Until the raging blue oceans
Become calm and turn dry .
But now that I have
Become old and less beautiful,
You chose to leave me and
Find the place your heart belonged to .
Should I blame time for making me wrinkled and weak ?
Or should I blame time for making you
Meet someone prettier than me .
At the end ,I have learnt a thing !
Time doesn't heal anything .
It just teaches us how to live with the pain
And now even without you ,
I'm strong , happy and hopeful.
