Time Alive

There was a time when we were alive;
when the sun shone brightly here.
There was a time when smiles were easy
but, look what we have forgotten,
in this place with no name
you forgot,
you forgot.
Were you never listening to a word I said?
No, I was never the one lying;
where did you go?
Why are you running?
In this place with no name
I've tried to remember
I'm drawing blank ends;
slips of paper,
no writing,
nameless,
forgotten.
There was a time when we were alive
I’m trying to remember,
the memories fade in and out
like breathes of air
stale;
breathed in too many times
hollow.
There was a time when we were so alive
when you said you would never leave,
so how do we get back to here,
tell me this is some bad dream?
Where all you promised will again come true
where you say, "I love you."
There was a time when we were so alive
tell me, do you remember it?

Memory when lost maybe natures way to hide from the murdering pain ... and love brings many ... both of them we have poet's story too ... bravo
