Time A Blessing Or A Curse
Time is relative as one wise man said
When you are in love
Time goes by so fast
But when you are alone and lonely
It goes so slow
You can have time for someone
But they don't have time for you
They say time is a healer
But time can sometimes hurt even more
And make things worse
When a Journey seems to last forever
But if you have someone to talk to
It doesn't last so long
Cupid can shoot his arrow in a day
Or shoot his arrow for more than a year
Or more
You can be in the right place at the right time
Or in the wrong place
And wrong time
Time can be a mystery
But so can history
Time waits for no one
But we may wait for time to go by
Memories can still be fresh in our minds
When new
But fade in time
You can't please everyone all the time
But, please yourself sometimes
When we get old and are running out of time
We look back and relive our past
Life lasts but a short time
But when we pass it's too long
A name on a tombstone
Might mean something to someone
But with the passage of time
The name means nothing to anyone
It's just a lump
Of weathered stone.
