Time

Time is your friend and your greatest foe, Time dictates what, where and when you go, Time tocked away then as it ticks by now, If you don't value time you'd better learn how. Treasure these times of perfect cheer, Good health, carefree so far from fear, Enjoy, savour indulge with gratitude, Reflect on your luck compared to the multitude. In the fleeting seconds of our dying fear, Life, its meaning, it all seems so clear, That's a familiar story, why is it always so? Forever missing the best bit as it's time to go. Seconds ticking, minutes tocking, hours striking by, Become days forming weeks or months piled high, Counting, keeping tally, noting down, Time thus masters life making you its clown.
