Time
TIME
On leaden feet.....on wings
She falls....she springs
Sleeps when you enjoy
Laughs at you when pressed
Conscious time....unconscious time.
Against you.......on your side :
Running out in cowardly
Yellow years streaming by;
Or a boxer with green seconds
Drip dripping to the bell
