Time

I am disgusted with time

It ticks and tocks, on and on

Never caring that some of us need it to stop

Take a break, catch our breath

Ruminate and reflect

But time cares not

Ticks that drip like a leaky faucet

It can’t be fixed

You can put your finger in it

The pressure builds

Then spills, taking you back to where you were

Counting each heavy minute and second

I need to feel some weightlessness

Floating off in space where up is down

Sideways is down and down is up

Time makes no sense it’s all-wrong in our minds

I need to stay still and jack with time

Move on past it at the speed of light

Gravity insists you can never escape

Ah what a concept, I'll simply

Set my watch back and pretend it’s Saturday

(with a little help from a friend~thanks KA).

Kilmer - I have to go somewhere, anywhere. I'll be keeping track of you now that I'm back. "The pressure builds Then spills, taking you back to where you were" -- priceless. love, Kathy
