Time
Only time can save
me from my torment
the time you gave me
the time we spent
together
has all vanished
into the past
the future looks
grim and not too
bright
when the sun is up
time for the day
when the moon is out
time for night
in which i lay upon
my bed and weep
bitter tears of
sorrow bitter tears
of my hearts love
for you
bitter tears i have
cried so much its
true
when will the sun
shine for me
when will daylight
break forth
when will my heart
be set on the right
course
i dwell upon the
time we where
it is engraved upon
my heart
i search for the
time when it will
not be dark
the darkness
overshadows me
in it you are whom i
see
walking away over
and over crushing my
tender heart
in time i hope to
escape the dark
