Time

Oh I wonder upon this day
time is all too short
Sunrise and sunset
But a blink away

Oh I wonder upon this day
The hours do rush past me
What happened to the child I was
 In the distant past 

Oh I wonder upon this day
Why we wish our life away
Because of tedious work
And stressful days

Oh I wonder upon this day
If I can live without worry
Enjoy friends and family
Like there is no tomorrow

 I wonder upon this day
If I can forgive the evil in some
Ignore jealousy and spite
In many persons in my life

 I wonder upon this day
Can I live in my safe bubble
And forget the cruelties 
That strike the innocent

Oh I wonder upon this day
Will my world end in peace
 blue skies for ever in heaven
My  favorite scent in the air

Oh I wonder upon this day
Every breath we take  today
Be grateful and set out without comfort
To make our dreams alive and true
