Time

Time can be whatever we want
Our enemy or our friend
It tells us when to start our day
Or when it has to end

It reminds us we're important
The appointments we must keep
Or how much time is sacrificed
Each time we fall asleep

It robs our children's innocence
Each day as they grow old
And gives us precious memories
As the years for us unfold

Time will be the death of us
For all things have to end
So til there's no more numbers
Time will be our friend
