Time
Forget about the hurt i hold, is what i tell myself.
Confine it to a deep dark place meticulously hidden on a shelf.
Laughter and jokes, is how i hide the grief.
If i make you laugh or smile i have done my job, is my belief.
Never choosing to wallow in my self pitty, is my goal.
Just wish my heart and head, would listen to my soul.
Setting myself free from pain is one day going to be.
Then you and I myfriend, will throw a party to being free.
Life is never fair , but never have any doubt.
No matter how many years it takes,
You will always find your way out.
