Time

The days last forever

It seems

When your world is empty

By choice

Months and years gone by

Too fast

A minute lasts a lifetime

Sitting alone

Years feel like minutes

When happy

Restless nights from living life

Or loneliness

Challenges for all

Until death

Insanity pleas become often

Risking everything

To be sane with regrets would

Haunt me

Give all that is possible

Expect nothing

Accept offerings frequently

Thoughts count

You are everything

To someone

Everyone else sees nothing

Of interest

Dream impossible dreams

Every night

For if you awaken tomorrow

It's eternity

Share your qualities with others

While living

Remembrance of your years

Never forgotten

A diary published

Without consent

Areas of nothing

Throughout pages

Left for those with

No voice

I simply forgot to count the

Painful hours

This one is bittersweet. If we live and play the hand we are given, enjoying each and every moment, expecting little and grateful for each blessing our lives will be fulfilling. Wonderful write. Vince

Deeply sad, and I can relate. Life is so full of disappointments. Many of us learn to expect nothing, this way we will not be disappointed. Not so easy, not so fair when you give your all. Such raw honesty and emotion. I am caught up in your words. Love, Shar
