Time

Children weave through the green field in laughter. Romantic string lights hang off the rafter. Time slowly ebbs with pleasure time after Time in endless undisputed master. Absent is the sound of children's laughter While dust, spider webs, hang of the rafter. Time nobly walked slowly, wouldn't chase after The Hag of Beara and august master. 4/12/2019 The Hag of Beara a mythic Irish Goddess

I can relate to this his poem so well. That profound sense of loss when children grow up and leave, busy with their own lives. Poignant and beautiful Eve. : ) xxoo

Oh well done Eve. A fine write in every way. Ah fleeting youth seems to last forever when it's here but once it's gone it seems like the time went by way too fast. Love this. God Bless, JB

Two contrasting quatrains with the same ending rhyme, excellent poetry, Eve:)

The Hag of Beara sounds like a wonderful Goddess; thank you for this darling poem, which reminds me of summer rapidly changing into fall.
