Till You Wake
Promise made are broken
The love we once possessed
Now rests in peace
As your eyes closed for the
time
Millions of tears were shed
Friends gathered
In honor of your memory
We've lost you
Now you sleep forever with
time
Free from injustices that
surrounds us
Dream of love
Dream of peace
May the world share in your
dream
May the world reflect your
dream
May time reveal your dream
A time where justice can't be
purchased
A time where skin color doesn't
determine guilt or innocence
May truth one day rein
