Till We Meet Again
© Francis Maugo
That day when
I came into this life.
You embraced me.
You protected me
So nobody could hurt.
You showed me values.
Illustrations in life I would learn.
You trained me to regard;
I offered you love as a trade off.
You have generally been a major part of my life
Through various challenges,
What's more, presently my desolate excursion
Without you will start.
For you were my legend,
A really long time.
You will constantly stay that legend
Till I meet you again sometime in the not so distant future.
I will embrace you in my arms
What's more, hang on close.
I will remain close by
What's more, you won't ever leave my sight.
I miss you to such an extent.
The aggravation doesn't ease.
I ask you are blissful
Lastly settled.
Rest in peace, join grandpa
The legendary Maugo
Till we meet again
Genuine child of Maugo
