Till We Meet Again

TILL WE MEET AGAIN... In my mind I planted a thousand smiles, many more sighs I planted a million seeds I knew not what colour or kind Aeons passed, seasons came and went It took a while...... One by one each blossomed into a flower Not even a single speck of empty space was left anywhere The sight, unparalleled, intoxicating From afar it was but a sea of crimson Only when did I get closer that I realised .... Those were poppy flowers I had sown a field of poppy flowers. So I closed my eyes and enjoyed the slumber deep..... Till the day we meet
