Till the Spark In the Dark

Help me help you, whatever it takes,
I am with you regardless the stakes.

Use me, blame me, keep me around,
Let me into your pain, don't shut down.

Let me guide, usher and steer you through -
Burden's easier carried by two.

All I ask for - to be by your side
Till your vision gets lucid and light.

While there's any hope left, speck or strand,
At the end of the tunnel I'd stand.

When you reach me, you're safe to move on;
After that, if you wish, I'll be gone.

Native Americans, like birds, animals, and reptiles, do their best to give children a wonderful life before they earn/develop their own life. It is good to be a beacon to others, but one must carefully weigh "helping" another so they do not learn to rely upon someone being there to help them! Enjoyed! Aloha!

I have a friend who survived suicide attempt but moved on beautifully, despite self inflicted disability. I often question if I only knew, or he only shared...it wouldn't have happened. Writing for the contest that was my inspiration. Aloha!

To desire someone with unbridled affection is a great tribute to love and being a light to others...Good luck!
