'till the Light of Dawn

Where does the day go, when darkness descends?
We rush off to dreams, where spirit pretends.

Then like birds flying, we soar through the night,
then run to escape, with all of our might!

Then spirit falling, from flight back to bed,
after adventures, where no man has tred.

When the body rests, the spirit plays on,
and soars through the night, 'till the light of dawn!

Meru, wonderful writing, no wonder I am still tired when I wake up, I have been soaring all night. Congratulations on your win in Brian's contest _Constance
