Til the Time Was Right
Was a kindly lady
Whose biological clock was ticking down
Six times they tried IVF treatment
To have there own child is their crown
The fire of love still burns between them
It is hard for them to understand
Why their dearest wish isn't granted
Holding ones baby in your hands.
The face is slowly smiling
As she faces another scan
To say yea or nay that she's with child
Smiling face but very wan.
The radiologist puts gel on the bump
Listens intently for the sound she wants to hear
Turns the screen around , mothers heart jumps
There on the screen is their child to be
Deep down this sight, keeps my faith intact
Moves my very soul from darkness to light
Lord moves in mysterious ways
Making them wait til the time was right.
