From the shadows I look up to see
Is today the day you remember me
Will you recognize my face
Will we engage in a loving embrace
Are you lucid in your thoughts today
Or will you again send me away
Does your mind let you think of me
Am I somewhere still in your memory
I see you struggle to call my name
Don't worry dear, my love won't change
You'll never have to shed a tear
My love will last a thousand years
I love you more each passing day
And though your mind has gone astray
I hold you close within my heart
I vowed to you 'til death we part
