Beatin' this path 'til my heart stop
cause any moment my heart. could. stop.
Swear any day my chest might pop
So sit tight, bout to open up shop
Call this the English chop shop, loppin' slop
'til I'm atop the top makin' rounds, spinning top
slap you sops, I mean saps
writin' raps while I nap
getcha thinkin' caps
Clap, clap, clap on lights
shinin' thru lies like a lite brite
Comin' for mine, writ of right
hope one day you see these heights
I'm over your spite & silly trite slights
Unmatchable sleight
Slight...ly insane, can't be tamed
brain strained tryna explain the arcane
Rhymes'll never wane, maintain
find your lane plain Jane
found mine mane...
I'm treatin' alcohol like an elixir
no mixer, always end up missin' her
got me wrapped round 'er finger
like a boa constrictor 
lips tastin' like nectar
but those same lips'll bicker 
like their words are scripture
bitter, gone in a flicker,
hope your new man's better
even forever don't last forever 
back to the liquor...
chest pains... what keeps it beating?
hold up, really, think about it... 
the great twitch, listen, I'm pleading
spent too much time reading
it's like cheating, or maybe peaking
into the meaning of being
existence is fleeting
quit fleeing your meaning
meaningless... to me that's bliss
What's a life without a risk?
Mind on fritz when I reminisce 
Blow my past selves a kiss
but no holes in my memory, swiss
triple threat like blitz, 3,000 hits & a swish
close your eyes, make a wish
and imagine this... 
I'm not sayin' there's no meaning
I'm sayin' you can choose, like screening
or dreaming, parti pris'ning, feigning 
for truth, like the right wing do for Jesus
Jesus, these realizations've left me alone
but alone don't mean I'm lonely
losin' touch with some of my homies
or should I say phonies?
cause I just can't relate with complacent
one too many vacant statements
words are latent
hesitatin' blatant flagrants
used to be adjacent agents
now you're an acquaintance 
count to 10, I'm learnin' patience
gracious vagrant w/ equational statements
fixated on a Pulitzer nomination
no delegations
cause I can't go with the flow...
that's a lazy stream
rather reap what I sew
guess I'm a one man team
but but but...
we used to be teemin' w/ dreams!
now you're like a train without steam
or a boat without oars headin' upstream
remind myself it's never what it seems
and take a step outside the seams... 
I'm truly sorry if I ever condescend
I swear It's not what I intend
I just want the best for my friends
on me you can always depend 
your go to in the red zone, tight end
