Tiger Thoughts

Whats slumbering inside this stuff tiger?
is it filled with dreams and hopes

Or just mere stuffing
dreaming of being a real tiger

Where he can frollic in the grass
on a spring evening
playing gentle games in the wind.

Or would he stay a stuff comfort toy
and hold all his beloved girls tears?

One who could comfort her
one who she can share her secrets
without being afraid.

One who she can be herself
Or would this tiger leave her
and be the tiger he always
dreamed of being??

Or would his stuff heart break
knowing his beloved will break
without the comfort of him.

he ponders whats would happen to the girl
Hopeing she would be herself, the girl
he knew before she broke

and fragments of her old self
is long gone and now new shards
takes its place.

These shards formed and molded
this woman to hold me all through her life.

Wanting to be showered with love
Wanting me to see the world with her
through her sorrowful eyes.

Eyes that stare cold
into my plastic beads

thoughts hidden behind these eyes
never surfacing for anyone to see

but me of course
the one to ease her pain

to make her happy
and to be that little girl again

yet im just a stuff animal
with thoughts behind my beaded eyes

Hopes and dreams stuffed
instead of a fluffy substance

feel the world lite it should be
instead of these hard paws

And here i sit
being hugged closely
to the one i love most.
