Tiger Dreams

Tiger the in-door cat.
looks out of the window,
watching, what could be a movie,
a fictional, on-going play
of an unknown world.

Instinctively, Tiger knows,
the blood-group of any sparrow,
the hurrying thoughts of a delicious chipmunk,
and the detestable habits of
our neighbor's dog,
when it is let out onto the screen
of his feline mind.

At night, Tiger curls up
to digest the many scenes
played-out that day,
all of them
persist as nocturnal cat food,
for his sharp tiger-teeth.
