Tiger Cat

We had a brave cat about two years old, With a great big heart and courage bold. A neighbor’s dog chased her home one day, To the window ledge, where he held her at bay. He barked and leaped and tried to bite, But our little cat showed a plucky fight. With tiger stripes upon her back, She bravely defended against attack. He tried to leap and nip her toes, But her sharp claws slashed his nose. Her hunched back was plain to see, He’d be smarter to let her be.
