Alone and locked up in her room With mirrors reflecting her gloom She paces the floor And looks at the door But can not crawl back in the womb

Her room will have to be her womb for the present --- until and unless it becomes her 'tomb.' What can one say?!

you are so clever with titles, rico! this one is great! you make a great point about the womb. when you think about it, why would anyone ever want to leave there?

Such a clever title and poem Rico, so many are suffering with depression and mental illness which has been exacerbated by the lockdown situation. Hold your head high with your poetry Rico, i will NEVER stop trying to raise a smile :-) hugs jan xx

This was inspired by one of Ilene's poems as I wondered why people despised being all alone in their room for 9-months when they coped quite well during 9-months in a womb. Thank you for your support! Aloha! Rico
