Notes About The Poem

Written for senryu contest sponsored by Hilo Poet

Thank you all for always supporting me, been having a bad migraine attack, so bad, that I havent been getting online but here now a little better and will try to read your poems today 

 

tied to the moon

 when air-brushed stars croon..
my soul sways, tied to the moon
lost in twinkling tune

seeking for rose light
from plum reveries tonight~
questioning twilight..

am I not fine art
metered refrain to restart
music of your heart..

 but will rivers heed
thoughts that stream in neon fields~
of teal auroras ..

swirling and twirling…
vinyl rhythms of warm astral~
spirits cloaked in sage…

in silence, I dream 
in a bed of lilac clouds~
of you, me, and love..

It was a great read, I love your love poems. "in silence, I dream in a bed of lilac clouds~of you, me, and love." One to look forward to.

Duke Beaufort May 2, 2024 at 6:17 PM IE, a very interesting poem about the flow of love and how much of what happens in this arena is unpredictable at its start. Sorry you are having a really bad headache. Years ago, I fell on a cure for migraines when I was having them (with lights and then pain on the opposite side of the head). Doctors won't recommend it and many people can't take advantage of it for a variety of reasons. I wrote a limerick about it called Common Sense Corona on 07/14/2013.
