Tie me to your tongue

Tethers float & tickle like feathers
I'm aloft unaware of outside weathers
Evening enhanced by colloquial pleasures

Malleable & manipulated
Esoterica like yours specifically stipulated

"Tie me to your tongue" I sing
Oh I utter the strangest things!

Yet I must admit I'm fully focussed
Overjoyed at this conversational hocus pocus
Unusually laid back & vocally gushing
Rampant points of interest gain further pushing

Tantalise & give me traction
Obligated now to end-goal satisfaction
Nerve endings sever in hyperspace
"Great subject matter expert kept perfect pace!"
Unbiased reviews are fully flowing
Eloquence like yours has me all glowing

I am not sure if it was your intention, but there is a hint of sapiosexuality here which resonates, as some who falls for the eloquence of ones mind and conscience! Lolol need to change that before I get played so well with their effn brilliance 😂 gosh I was very serious when I started this comment thread 🥲 and now I am giggling at some thoughts! Your sense of humor is lovely! And shines! And I dig it (papa tone) 😂 well! There is too much I like in this and no I aint biased! My co judge said place it first!

I love how you turned my prompt into an acrostic, wasnt expecting that, and how youv rhymed too while at it. I can see how your mine works so creatively, and how various directions come into perspective as you word your take on the prompt! Theres humor, theres sensuality, theres also attraction, some lines made me smile. And it gives a real and honest aura and vibe to your poetry. Because, well, when we feel certain ways, so deeply, we do tend to say things that can be quite strange when we listen to our own sayings

What a wonderfully clever acrostic! I absolutely love the playful energy and wordplay here—phrases like "conversational hocus pocus" bring such a fantastic, lighthearted charm to the piece. The way you seamlessly wove the title down the margins while keeping the rhythm and humor so engaging is brilliantly done. This was a genuinely delightful and fun read!

Thank you for taking some time with this acrostic Alison - being lead by those letters could easily lead astray but hopefully I kept it chatty 😊

Haha! this is a quite brilliant and well thought out Acrostic, the balance between innuendo and fascination is on a knifes edge, one small step and it could end up on the sofa or even more dangerous territory lol! Ok my unbiased reviews are fully flowing now, and I will say with certainty this piece is absolutely hilarious and extremely well thought out, hopefully I’m playing it safe, without being tongue tied or twisted, but I do believe Ink will love it and the bar has been set high in her contest, absolutely love it! Cheers David

It was so funny to edit this. I went very clearly in one direction then amused myself no end trying to steer it to just right of the line to create a bit of duality on the prompt line. I think I've corrupted my brain with double entendre though - I'll double take on any future comments on my scintillating conversation skills now for sure 😅🫣 thanks for confirmation that I conveyed as intended. I've been laughing to myself for the past 30 minutes trying to reply, so I'll leave this reply here 😂 thanks again 😁
